Spartan was born out of the dream to design the ultimate zero turn mower—a machine that would take rugged strength, comfort, and style to another level. In 2016, Robert and Becky Foster launched the first Spartan mower. A few years later, Spartan Mowers and its sister companies were acquired by The Toro Company (TTC), a global outdoor solutions provider headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota. In 2024, Spartan merged brands with Intimidator UTV to carry mower and UTV lines, launching Spartan Mowers and UTVs.
Spartan UTVs, formerly known as Intimidator UTVs, offer a robust lineup of side-by-side utility vehicles designed for both work and recreation. The Spartan Intimidator FRX, tailored for demanding farm and ranch tasks, features a heavy-duty frame and suspension, a 1250-lb bed capacity, a 2050-lb payload, and a 2500-lb towing capacity. It comes equipped with electronic power steering, electronic 4WD selection with front and rear locking differentials, a digital display, LED lighting, cruise control, and a metal bed with an automotive-style spray-in liner. The FRX is available in single and crew cab models with color options including grey, tan, and camo. Additional UTV models offer various features such as touchscreen displays, electric bed dumps, and deluxe seating, catering to a range of utility and recreational needs. With a wide array of accessories available, Spartan UTVs provide customizable solutions for outdoor enthusiasts and professionals alike.
