Defender XD

Our frames on all Defender models and up are constructed from heavy-duty 3”x1.5” 11-gauge tube steel. Spartan Mowers are built though there’s no doubt about it.

All decks on Spartan Mowers are fabricated steel decks. Our Defender and Victor series are made from 7-gauge steel.

Our maintenance-free spindles are engineered for strength from the inside out. Every detail works together to withstand impact and keep you mowing season after season.

Spartan Mowers are engineered with technology that combines perfect balance with superb incline control for a smoother ride.

Adjustable steering arm provides a customized fit for operation.

Our Xtreme Turf Flow (XTF) decks have been designed to meet spring, summer, and fall mowing conditions. This enhanced system is available on all Defender & Victor models.

Our toolless belt covers allow for easy removal of accumulated debris to help keep your machine cleaner after each use.

All models are equipped with a rubber ani-vibration floor mat that helps reduce vibration to the operators’ feet and legs while also creating an anti-slip surface.

Our Full Suspension Seat is standard with 3” of adjustable travel and made from premium materials to provide you with a ride that is above standard.

Our passion for the muscle cars of the late ‘60s has fueled the design of Spartan Mowers. Mow in style and turn heads with its sleek profile.

LED headlights are standard on most Spartan models. Mounted directly to the front of the mower, they’re great for finishing the last few rows at dusk and lighting the way to the trailer or shed.

All models are fabricated and assembled in Batesville, Arkansas using US and global parts. We’re proud of our hardworking staff and communities that help build Spartan.
