The Spartan FRX is the Ultimate Hunting Companion

9/30/2026

Every hunter knows that getting to the right spot is often half the battle. The best hunting locations usually aren't sitting beside a paved road.

They're down a muddy trail, across a creek bottom, over a rocky ridge, or tucked somewhere deep on the back forty. And when you've got stands, feeders, tools, hunting gear—and hopefully a big buck—to move in and out of the woods, having the right machine can make all the difference.

That's where the Spartan FRX earns its place in the hunting world.

Built with the toughness and utility hunters need, the FRX isn't simply a way to get from Point A to Point B. It can become one of the most useful pieces of equipment you own before, during, and even after hunting season.
Get to Your Hunting Destination

Deer don't usually cooperate by staying close to easy roads. Whether you're navigating muddy logging trails, climbing hills, crossing uneven ground, or working your way through rough property, traction matters.

The Spartan FRX features selectable 2WD and electronic 4WD along with selectable front and rear locking differentials. That gives you the ability to adjust the drivetrain to the conditions instead of using maximum traction everywhere you go. The FRX also provides 10 inches of ground clearance and rides on 8-ply steel-belted radial all-terrain tires.

When the trail gets rough—or barely qualifies as a trail at all—the FRX is built to keep going.

Carry the Gear So You Don't Have To

Think about everything that gets hauled during hunting season. Tree stands. Ground blinds. Feed. Trail cameras. Tools. Coolers. Backpacks. Decoys. Firewood. Then there's the trip you really want to make: hauling game back out of the woods.

Whether you prefer the two-seat Spartan FRX or need the additional passenger space of the four-seat FRX Crew, there's a setup that fits the way you hunt. The standard FRX gives hunters a substantial cargo bed measuring 56 inches wide by 44.5 inches long, with a rated 1,250-pound cargo-bed capacity. The FRX Crew provides the same generous bed dimensions while offering seating for up to four people and a 1,000-pound cargo-bed capacity—a great option when you're taking hunting partners, family, or extra help into the field.

Instead of making multiple trips or trying to carry heavy equipment on your back, you can load up the FRX and let it do the work. And with the Crew model, you've got room to bring more people along without giving up the utility of a full-size cargo bed.

That can be particularly valuable before the season ever begins. Food plots need work. Stands need hanging. Cameras need checking. Trails need clearing. Feeders need filling. Hunting properties require year-round maintenance, and whether you choose the standard FRX or the FRX Crew, a capable UTV can make those jobs considerably easier.

Built for Those Early-Morning Starts

Hunters tend to start their day when most people are still asleep. Getting into the woods before daylight means good lighting isn't optional. The FRX comes standard with LED headlights, running lights and turn signals, providing illumination for those predawn rides to the stand as well as trips back to camp after dark.

A digital display also keeps important operating information where you can see it, including gear position, speed, RPM, hours, mileage and diagnostic codes. When it's 4:45 in the morning and you're several miles from camp, simple functionality matters.

Plenty of Power Without Forgetting Utility

The FRX is powered by a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine producing 40 horsepower, with a top speed of 45 mph. But hunting isn't about seeing how fast you can get through the woods. It's about controlled power.

You need enough muscle to climb, haul, tow and work through difficult terrain while maintaining control when the trail gets tight or conditions get slick. The FRX combines its drivetrain with standard power steering, adjustable suspension components and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes.

That's the kind of combination that matters much more in hunting country than simply chasing the biggest horsepower number.

Built for More Than Opening Weekend

Make the Woods a Little Smaller

A good hunting property can feel enormous when you're carrying 40 pounds of gear. It feels even bigger when you're dragging a deer back out.

The right UTV changes that.

It lets you spend less energy getting equipment where it needs to go and more time doing what you came there to do. It helps you maintain your property more efficiently. It extends the distance you're able to comfortably cover. And when the hunt finally comes together, it can make getting you, your gear and your game back to camp a whole lot easier.

That's what makes the Spartan FRX such a natural fit for hunters. Rugged enough for the trail. Capable enough for the work. Versatile enough to use all year. Now that hunting season is here, the Spartan FRX isn't just another piece of equipment at camp that you need. It may be the hunting companion you wonder how you ever did without.
