One of the major highlights of the year for us at Spartan Mowers is the National Dealer Meeting at which dealers from across the country and around the world travel to our facilities in Batesville, Arkansas, as we celebrate all that makes Spartan Mowers the best zero turn mowers on the market. With nearly 700 in attendance, this year’s event—held September 12-13 at our White Drive facility—was themed New Horizons, a nod towards the growing partnerships between our companies, dealers, and vendors.
“We are excited to be able to have our dealers in each year for this event,” stated John Swanson, General Manager, Intimidator Group. “They enjoy coming to Batesville and visiting the facilities, meeting the team and seeing the product. We have a strong future ahead of us and are excited to continue to grow and expand our partnerships with our dealers and vendors.
This was the seventh annual dealer meeting for Intimidator Group, which produces Spartan Mowers, Intimidator UTVs, the eNVy® Neighborhood Vehicle, Bad Dawg Accessories, and Ground Hog Max ATV/UTV Disc Plow. 174 authorized dealers from across the US and even Ireland and Puerto Rico joined us for two days packed full of networking with industry partners and learning about how we can all work together to best serve our customers.
Monday morning included facility tours, vendor expo, a meet and greet with TikTok star Mike Duty, and Connect Effect, which is an opportunity to visit with representatives from each of the departments at Intimidator Group.
After lunch, Robert Foster and the sales team showed off the 2023 product lineup followed by an afternoon Ride and Drive for mowers, UTVs and the eNVy. Visitors also took a swing at axe throwing and tossed Baggo until it was time for an al fresco dinner provided by a host of local food trucks. The evening’s festivities were topped off by a concert featuring country music star Adam Warner.
Following breakfast on Tuesday, we kicked off the day with a company update and a Q & A panel that gave dealers the chance to ask questions about anything from production to the acquisition earlier this year by The Toro Company. Leadership was glad to answer all questions and assure our dealers that the Spartan Mowers brand is stronger than ever and here to stay.
Employees and partners also hosted multiple workshops covering aspects such as warranty and parts, a vehicle business overview, Spartan product features and benefits and the importance of Google for dealerships. Lunch on Tuesday was followed by our 2021-2022 Dealer Awards Ceremony during which the top dealers for all three brands were recognized. Our dealers form the backbone of Spartan Mowers, so it's always a pleasure to thank them for their commitment to our brand and recognize their achievements.
We look forward to National Dealer Meeting every year and know that it would not be possible without all our sponsors, vendors, employees, and dealers. It’s truly a team effort. If this year’s event is any indication of success, 2023 better look out—we couldn’t be more excited about what the future holds because WE ARE SPARTAN!
